My Approach
I believe garment development should never feel like guesswork. When ideas are handled with care, structure, and intention, they have the power to grow into pieces that are beautifully made and truly ready for the market.
What matters most to me is watching a design come to life — not just as a sketch, but as a garment that fits real bodies, supports real movement, and holds up in real production. There’s something meaningful about guiding an idea from its earliest spark to a finished piece that someone can confidently wear. That transformation is why I do this work.
About
Pauline Studio was built from real experience — the wins, the mistakes, and the hard lessons that come with bringing fashion ideas to life. My journey in this industry didn’t start in a classroom or a corporate office. It started with my own brand, my own dreams, and my own challenges.
Like many emerging designers, I led with creativity. I had vision, passion, and beautiful ideas — but not the technical development needed to support production. Without clear direction, proper sizing, or detailed construction guidance, the garments that came back weren’t what I imagined.
The fit was off. The quality was inconsistent. And the inventory I invested in became a painful reminder of how costly development mistakes can be.
It’s an experience many founders go through but rarely talk about.
And it changed everything for me.
I realized that strong ideas aren’t enough on their own.
What truly determines whether a garment succeeds is the development process behind it — the structure, the clarity, the technical foundation.
So I committed myself to understanding every stage of development: refining concepts, reviewing fit, guiding factories, preparing styles for sampling, and supporting production teams. Over the years, I’ve seen how the right technical approach can transform a collection — not just aesthetically, but financially and operationally.
Today, through Pauline Studio, I help brands bridge the gap between design and production.
I support emerging designers, boutique brands, and wholesale suppliers who need reliable development guidance — especially those without an in‑house technical team. My work is rooted in the lessons I learned firsthand, and in the belief that every idea deserves a fair chance to succeed.
My focus is simple:
• improving fit and construction
• reducing costly sampling mistakes
• ensuring garments are truly ready for production
Because when the development is strong, the entire brand becomes stronger.
